Ethics is all we got!

In today's world, we spend most of our time online, be it studying, working or even entertaining ourselves, thus it has become vital for everyone to possess a clear understanding of common acceptable-use policy guidelines in order to ensure their well being and satisfaction on the web.
In this post I will be discussing an important aspect of these policies and how it's becoming increasingly violated or rather ignored by internet users.
Growing up, all of us were told to respect others, especially elders, so we all have an idea of what respecting others mean to an extent. The objective of this post would be to clarify how we can carry this over to our online life and how it's equally vital.

On the web, you are always one of the two: content creator, or a user, of the content, in both cases it's a must that you abide to some form of rules that organize your interaction with others.

for content creators, i will be giving two main examples from a platform most of use on daily basis which is YouTube. Did you know that 300 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute?! looks a like a huge number to me, and while YouTube has its own set of rules and regulations, it's still not enough to ensure the cleanliness of the platform. A common trend I see on YouTube these days are people who call themselves "Pranksters" , while no one can really say no to a funny little prank, but these people take things to the extremes sometimes, they may humiliate random people in the streets or even their close friends just to get much attention from users on YouTube. I feel like this act is unacceptable and should be limited as it's very offensive sometimes.
Another example of common violations I see on this platform is those content creators who try hard to criticize other people and while criticism is really essential for one's growth and development it's sometimes destructive especially when people do it on the purpose of showing your flaws or judging you.
Moving on to the other category of violators online, and I will still use YouTube as the platform that includes these, these are the people who are often too negative when they criticize others especially if they disagree with them, almost every video online has a dark comment section full of insults and harsh criticism and while YouTube gives you the option to delete these comments or mark them as spam I think YouTube should involve  ore tools that automatically detect hateful comments and filter them out.

i think online platforms should be more strict in dealing with the violators, I know this would conflict with the idea of internet neutrality which is being pushed out by a lot of people nowadays, but for me, I would rather be more respected than more entertained. What do you guys think about this, let me know in the comments!
